Sr. IT Project Manager (3/11 – Present)

As a member of the Commercial Insurance Application Technology Services division, leveraged Enterprise IT project work to the advantage of the Commercial IT Cloud and Security Enablement group. Initially managed the ITSM Program and related projects to improve service delivery and operational efficiency, which included data base migrations and product replacement projects. Currently managing the Security Vulnerability Management Program and leading several projects under that initiative, including large scale product upgrades and migrations, product life cycle management efforts, and cloud platform adoption efforts. Additional project work has included improvements to asset management and Application Portfolio Management, Configuration Management Database implementation, data integration for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, as well as technology tools analysis, and several proof-of-concept projects. Systems Project Manager (7/06 – 1/11)

Managing complex, cross-organizational projects for the Fidelity Technology Group (FTG) as a contractor through Veritude, a Fidelity company. Utilizing Fidelity Systems Delivery Methodology (FSDM) as well as PMI project methodologies to manage full SDLC projects. Projects include infrastructure and application upgrades and implementations for corporate-wide use. Matrixed teams have been composed of business and enterprise technology representatives, with product deliverables to all organizational levels from the Chairman and Trustees, down to 40,000+ corporate users. Dynamics Research Corporation

Sr. Software Developer / Project Manager (11/02 – 7/06)

Returned to Dynamics Research to lead software development contract effort at the NH Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Laboratories (PHL). Designed, developed, and implemented a Food Microbiology Test Tracking and Environmental Specimen receipt application (LIMS components). Project Manager and Sr. Developer responsible for SDLC and Agile projects planning and execution, including business analysis, software design and construction, technical documentation, and release management. Later awarded a follow on contract to develop an Outbreak Management module. Additional responsibility for internal research and development proof-of-concept for DRC to move SACWIS solution to Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) using model driven design on a J2EE platform. Also responsible for investigating new tools and technologies for DRC. Other assignments included authoring technical documentation and customer presentations for several State SACWIS proposals, as well as the NH MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System). Directed software development and product implementation projects for high tech industrial, electronics, and aerospace manufacturers. Planned and staffed projects following Statement of Work and contract acceptance. Lead Systems Analyst (9/96 – 9/00)

Managed a team of software developers at customer site to design, develop, and implement a 400 user client / server application for NH Health and Human Services, including Claims Processing, Eligibility Tracking, and Financial Management modules. Full system development lifecycle responsibilities included project planning and management, requirements definition, system architecture design, database modeling, UI design, and program development. Worked side by side with customer to model software to business operations using RAD techniques. Developed application software in PowerBuilder and PL/SQL on an ORACLE database and HP UNIX servers. Also conducted user acceptance tests, training sessions, and post-implementation support. Used CA Harvest for release management, and Rational SQA for regression testing. Also conducted sales presentations and technical sales support for new Dynamics Research customer opportunities as needed.
